A wonderful opportunity for anyone wanting to support Delaware students from under-served communities.  Breakfast will be served and two of our Pathways graduates will share their powerful testimonies. Knowing that the diversity of the Delaware educator workforce does not reflect the diversity of our student population, which results in significant opportunity gaps, Pathways to Success is partnering with Delaware Department of Education and Rodel to inspire a culturally responsive, socially just and diverse generation of educators. In year two of a pilot that currently serves 56 young people, namely those who have been systematically excluded in grades 9-12, Pathways to Success coordinators are co-revising and implementing an educator preparatory curriculum that celebrates identity, prompts criticality, and inspires joy. Additionally students in this program are participating in a professional learning community and attending equity-centered trainings. Join us on Tuesday, April 30th, for a day of celebration. Students will present their capstone projects, attend breakout sessions and panel discussions, and learn from experienced educators and public servants who support and lead for the change our young people deserve. Join us for our first ever Student Limelight Celebration at Irish Eyes in Lewes, DE on September 27, 2024. Enjoy dinner and dancing with a DJ as we recognize many of the wonderful high school students in our program who are truly shining! Hear a powerful testimony from our student keynote speaker and the Pathways to Success program coordinator who has been instrumental to their success.  Sponsorship packages are available.
