Changemakers Celebration – Teacher Prep Program

Knowing that the diversity of the Delaware educator workforce does not reflect the diversity of our student population, which results in significant opportunity gaps, Pathways to Success is partnering with Delaware Department of Education and Rodel to inspire a culturally responsive, socially just and diverse generation of educators.

In year two of a pilot that currently serves 56 young people, namely those who have been systematically excluded in grades 9-12, Pathways to Success coordinators are co-revising and implementing an educator preparatory curriculum that celebrates identity, prompts criticality, and inspires joy. Additionally students in this program are participating in a professional learning community and attending equity-centered trainings.

Join us on Tuesday, April 30th, for a day of celebration. Students will present their capstone projects, attend breakout sessions and panel discussions, and learn from experienced educators and public servants who support and lead for the change our young people deserve.

Breakfast and Lunch will be served.
