Chicks-for-Charity Dinner raises money to benefit Pathways to Success, Inc.
On Tuesday, Oct. 21st, 2014, “Chicks for Charity” sponsored a dinner at Fish On Restaurant in Lewes, DE to benefit Pathways to Success, Inc. “Chicks for Charity” is dedicated to assisting those less fortunate, and the raffle and 50/50 raised $800 for Pathways!
Established in Lewes, Delaware, the organization has aided the residents of Sussex County since 2010. Many of the charitable organizations “Chicks for Charity” has supported are essential community resource agencies that aid kids, families, the elderly, abandoned animals, and those that are under-served and in need.

Pathways to Success, Inc. extends a special thank you to the United Troopers Alliance and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement for supporting Pathways through proceeds generated at their first Family and Friends Day at Camp Barnes on August 30, 2014. Everyone enjoyed the 3 on 3 basketball tournament, outstanding food, and the information provided a variety of community resources.
Pathways to Success is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
In April, 2014, Pathways received a 2014 Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Harambee XXI Community Service Award for its after-school academic enrichment and community outreach programs.

Jynequa Drummond, Pathways to Success student and Junior at Sussex Technical High school in Georgetown, DE, competed in the 2015 Miss Delaware Teen USA Pageant in Wilmington, DE on November 29 & 30, 2014. Jynequa won the evening gown portion of the competition. She actively raised funds and solicited private donations to fund her participation in the competition. Per Jynequa, the experience is one that she will forever remember.
Jynequa is an honor roll student, writes poetry, and is active in her church. She is also a member of the Basketball Dance Team, Key Club, works part-time, and will be playing the leading role in her church's Christmas play this year.
