Stuff the Turkey for Students in Need

November 6, 2023 @ 9:00 am - November 17, 2023 @ 5:00 pm

Pathways to Success is in need of healthy, non-perishable food items, drinks, and snacks for the students in our program who are facing food insecurity.
Donations can include pop tarts, cereal bars, nuts, granola bars, snack-size peanut butter, trail mix, tuna pouches with crackers, dried fruit, popcorn, chips, juice boxes, and microwaveable oatmeal, soups, and macaroni & cheese.
From November 6th to November 17th, the community is encouraged to drop their items off at these locations:
Jeanine O’Donnell’s State Farm office is located
at 16583 Coastal Hwy in Lewes, Delaware.
Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The office phone number is 302-644-3276.
Sussex County Habitat for Humanity ReStore is located at 18501 Stamper Drive in Lewes, Delaware.
Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The phone number is 302-855-1156.
The Georgetown Library is located at 123 West Pine Street in Georgetown, Delaware.
The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The library’s phone number is 302-856-7958.
The majority of the Pathways to Success students are food deprived. They often do not have breakfast in the morning or dinner at night. It is not unusual for a student to ask the Pathways to Success Program Coordinators at Cape Henlopen High School, Milford High School, Seaford High School or Sussex Tech to ask for a snack because they are hungry. Snacks for Success will help them so very much.
Snacks for Success is a healthy snack food drive for Pathways to Success youth. This was spearheaded by Jeanine O’Donnell several years ago. Sussex County Habitat for Humanity ReStore joined in and this year the Georgetown Library has offered their support!
