Keda Dorisca is a recent graduate of Delaware State University in Dover, DE. She received her degree in Political Science with minors in Law Studies and Women and Gender Studies. During her college career, Keda was a part of a multitude of organizations illustrating her leadership skills, an ability to work collectively with others, and think critically. The offices she has held; Class President –Freshman and Sophomore Year, Teach for America-First Generation Mentors Program- Lead Mentor, Member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Keda is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Keda is committed to giving back to the community and helping those in need to excel and succeed. Her service minded attitude has led her to join the Pathways to Success, Inc. nonprofit team. As a former student of Pathways to Success, Inc. she has firsthand knowledge of many of the challenges students face and brings through her perspective and considerable experiences to Pathways to Success programs.
Keda was born in the Turks and Caicos Islands to parents of Haitian decent before moving to Georgetown, DE; she also has one sibling a brother. Her faith grounds her and gives her strength and the perseverance to overcome obstacles.
In her free time, Keda loves to volunteer, read, and is committed to assisting others through outreach efforts.
Keda aspires to become a humanitarian attorney, focusing on women’s and children’s rights both domestically and internationally.
